Walk with your music
Sony Ericsson W302 belongs to Sony Ericsson's affordable walkman phone that will open a world of nonstop music for your ears and also offer you a solid set of utility features to accompany your musical need.

Design
It's a very compact device, though the term sounds cliché, it is true. It carries a size and weight that feels nothing in your pocket. With less than 100 gram weight and a rubberized plastic casing the phone feels sturdy. The front panel is aluminium, which elevates its class. The silver body with a 2 inch screen looks cheap from no angle. On the side you a dedicated Walkman button, which gets you straight into the phone's music player. The phone has a very functional keypad with tiny but distinctive keys that are easy to use.

Music
The music player is of course the highlight of the Walkman universe and the W302 has all the essentials to make it a useful music phone. It's easy to add tracks using Sony Ericsson's sync software or by merely dragging and dropping from your PC. Stereo Bluetooth allows you to transfer tracks from other handsets, as well as lets you use wireless headphones. The supplied headphones are good, offering a decent dynamic range with controlled bass. The built-in FM radio offers nine presets, good enough for a standard user. There's also RDS for track and station information where available.

Phone features
Other than music, it offers some carefully chosen features to make it a complete phone. It's a quad band handset, which makes it handy for roaming, but it comes without 3G, though the WAP alternative is pretty functional. The two-megapixel camera is not an exception but works well for some casual photography with some good built in options. The phone comes with a 512MB microSD card and has the capacity to handle up to 4GB memory. The battery backup is good for a music phone.

Cons
There's no 3.5mm jack plug on the handset.

Verdict
If you are looking for bundle of features then you will feel a little disheartened with this phone. But, if your priority is good music, a nice compact design and a good pocket friendly price, this can be the ultimate walkman phone for you.

Pros : Very good mobile

The W302 Walkman? is packed with impressive features in an affordable no-compromise slim handset. The Sony Ericsson W302 Walkman is a small, particularly light music-phone with great sound quality.

Pros : ease of operation

Cons : media sound low, no light for camera

Phone is average. it does not have good sound quality, also speaker volume is low. Camera picture quality is good, but camera is incapable of taking photos when there is not sufficient light. Camera does not have flash light. Within two month period mobile display started giving problem. Finally I have replaced it in service centre. You can add only one alarm in mobile not multiple. Which is possible in ordinary phones. Battary back up also not satisfactory. I am charging it everyday or within 20 hours even though I am not regular user.

junk model

Its one of the junk model. do not buy this model. You can go for other company mobiles they have much better features than W302 for low cost. No PC suite, no option to add themes and games and moreover its not at all user friendly. I wasted my money buying this junk model. I request this developer not to release such junk models in future. I tried a lot to use this model as modem and till now i was not able. I dont understand why these company peoples do not provided a PC suite for this model till now. that means this model is good for nothing. This is my first purchase and i hope will be the last one. My humble request to all my friends is do not buy this model. Look for some other company sets, they really worth of buying it with less price than the W302.
