The Blackberry solution consists of smart phones incorporated with software that enables easy access to email and other communication services. It was introduced in 1999, but got exposure and focus in 2004 after Research in Motion (RIM) revealed the fact of 2 million blackberry subscribers worldwide. This reflects that it took 5 years to get the 1ts million and just 10 month for the second. Today around 13 million users have got their phones with Blackberry.
