Excellent photography

This is an excellent camera and lense combination. I just love the ease of use and the picture quality is amazing. The image sharpness is very good to excellent, rivaling cameras costing much more. The adjustment capability allows great exposure, aperture and focal length control. This camera is easy to use. This lense is great for all around photography, sacrificing a little low light capability.

Does it All

Use it for portrait work (weddings) and macro. Love the ISO capability, great in low light. Having a shutter count is a nice feature. Controls are simple, basically the same as 30, 40D. Built tough, quality product. The video recording is a nice feature, but not really needed on a pro level camera. Live view is ok, but not something I find easy to get used to. Not having to deal with a crop factor is great. Full frame is the only way to go. Although it is spendy, Canon and retailers have some awesome rebate offers going on now, take advantage if you can.
