Tata Vista is a pretty good buy.... I have bought the car 2 years back n have not faced any major problems till now. The fuel efficiency is also good... Totally reliable for long journeys....

vista quadrajet,a boon to a tata car industry

hearing lot about vista quadrajet prompted me to visit fairdeal motors here in srinagar to have a look at it.finally i managed my entry in to the show room and gala red vista caught my eye.exterior fit and finish has been a huge improvement over previous indica, especially the petal shaped head lamps. paint quality of the car is good enough and so is the build.sales guy in the show room arranfed a test drive as i was getting eager to get my self behind the steering wheel.dash board is pretty good and gives u the feel of a sedan.start the engine and u cant feel the motor clattering under the hood.it is silent enough.press the throttle and the car moves forward .some initial turbo lag below 2000 rpm was felt,but crossing it changed every thing and car came to life begging for pressing it more.in no time car jumped to 100 km mark.i was really astonished by straight line acceleration. couldnt push the car below 120 mark due to traffic interruptions.car is a fun to drive on the highway but cornering at high speeds is not as efficient as swift which scores over vista on this parameter.rest other features are good like nice suspension and better handling though handling is a notch below the swift diesel.over all it will be a good value for money at lesser price than swift.last but not the least to say that eversince tata launched their first indica and till now ,lot has changed and taxi image of indica will also change in future years to come.vista will be a good buy for those who are not swift crazy.
