Disappointment for those who want camera
Well I have this phone. It's so good the fact that it has an Internet but the sad thing is that it doesn't have an integrated camera which is a real shame really because I love phones which have camera.

Best BB yet
Better than an 8700 in every respect except the keyboard is more cramped. I thought losing the classic BB thumbwheel would a problem for me, but I really like the little joystick now after hating it at first. I guess there is a little "get used" curve with anything. Really easy switchover from the 8700 to the 8800 using the BB desktop software. Add 3G to this and UTMS2100 band coverage and it would be the perfect phone.

Blackberry is a masterpiece from RIM. Im using Blackberry from 6 Months, and I m damn happy with this. Blackberry can do a lot which windows Mobiles cant do atleast for next 2 Years. Best of Luck Windows mobile 5.0.

awesome
I bought this phone for my husband, and he just loves it! The built in GPS features are awesome. It is indeed worth every penny. Only minus, no camera. But who really buys a phone for the camera features?

The best communication device out there for mobile professionals
Simple, intuitive, good battery life, great GPS integration, trackball is fine, good ergonomics, doesn't miss calls.

nothing great in it
Internet browsing on BlackBerry 8800 handset really zero. It will take lot of time to load a web page. It does not load properly. It does not support Flash. It does not download software on Media Card. All others features are okay.

Almost perfect
Having gone through Blackberry withdrawl after moving to a Windows mobile device (Blackjack) I came back to the 8800. This is nearly a perfect tool for the business professional. Sporting an excellent form factor, all the normal Blackberry functionality plus GPS, it is an outstanding device. My wish list would be to add a camera and a selectable 3G/EDGE network capability to conserve power and allow high speed access when I occasionally want to access the web via my phone. Integrating the new Curve's multi-media capability would also be a plus as the current media player is good, but not great.

Good Phone
I thought that the Blackberry would be hard to use but it is surprisingly easy. It has great features and lots of them. These include maps, address book and calender. Email - now this is brilliant, you can be anywhere and still respond to important issues. The blackberry also has an addictive game called "brickbreaker" - it is where you move a paddle accross the bottom of the screen and use a ball to destroy bricks - great fun for the tube. Overall this is a great product - it is small and light -handbag sized in fact and it is multifunctional. It has everything that I need and a bit more - it is also so easy to use that even technophobe me can use it.
