Too slow

I bought this to replace my Canon Powershot A70, which I've had replaced or repaired at least 4 times over 5 years (now the lens is broken, again). I got this one on a whim, because I wanted a more expensive one that wasn't in stock. This camera is slow to take photos so many precious moments have been missed. The way to change to another mode (movie, manual) is multi-step so again, moments are missed. And it seems like photos aren't very bright. I just bought another Canon.

Excellent Camera

I'm going on a trip to Europe and needed a new camera. I wanted a simple camera that takes great pictures and has long battery life. My new Fuji is all of this. You can figure out how to work it straight out of the box without needing to look at a manual. All the features are great, the pictures look nice. The battery is easy to charge and lasts quite a while. I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone who needs a high-quality, simple camera. Plus, you can't beat the price.

Affordable digital camera

I was looking for a small and easy to use camera that takes great pictures under most conditions. I went to a local Circuit City to see what is available at the moment. I tried this camera and loved the results that I saw. It's priced very competitively consider the competitions. It's small but pictures aren't blurry even if you don't have a steady hand while taking pictures. It's easy to use and I think it makes a great beginner's camera for anyone who enjoys taking every day casual snapshots. I would recommend this camera over the others in it's price range and class.

Black Digital Camera

Got the camera on Christmas Day . The next day, the camera fell on a carpeted surface from less than three feet. This destroyed the zoom mechanism. I returned it to the retailer. Their only response was to have it repaired, which would take 4 to 6 weeks. Extremely disappointed, my response was to go to another shop and buy a far more durable Olympus 790SW. If these cameras cannot take a very little abuse, they are not worth buying. They Olympus SW series is the only camera in its class that can take what should be the norm..
