Great little camer - no view finder
While it is a nice little camera, with many handy features, includng an exceptionally large display screen, it was missing one rather important feature for me - a view finder! The vast majority of pictures that we take are outdoors, often in bright light. From mountains for distant scenes, to close-ups of flowers, etc. In bright light conditions, it is very difficult to impossible to see what is on the screen, and I need a view finder in which to view what image is being captured. Barring that feature, I found myself guessing and hoping I'd be getting what I wanted in my picture, with varying degress of success. However, when I wanted to get some up-close pictures of rain-drops on flowers, I could not capture it at all, since I couldn't see the image on the screen!

Great Camera
I bought this for my fiances birthday, and she loves it. It takes amazing pics and the rechargable battery last a long time. This was a great buy. But be sure to get a memory card because it can only take like 4 pics without one.

love this camera
I love this camera. It's small enough for pocket. it can be used in many occasions. It has a nice large LCD window that seems bright enough. It's given me sharp and great pictures.

Good for not caring
If you want a small camera that you can fit in your pocket or purse and take good quality images without paying a lot this is perfect for you. I had the 6.2 mp version a long time ago and it worked perfectly for 2 years untill the shutter wouldn't open (other people I knew had the same problem). I then switched to the Sony from the Aerosmith comercial, which I loved for the lense and features and would reccomend if you are looking to pay more. Then it came out of my pocket on a rollercoaster and that was that - so for not wanting to pay a lot for another camera, I knew this would do the deal.

nice camera
battery charges in about two hours and the camera start up time is quick no waiting for a camera to boot up so you can grab those quick shots. Im not a camera pro by any means but i can reccomend this camera too anyone who wants a high quality unit thats easy to use .

Beyond Expectations!
I thought this was going to be yet another point and shoot that would fall short of my expectations (they are pretty high as I'm a professional photographer). This is a great little camera that captures beautifully sharp photographs. The Casio EX-Z1080 is simply awesome. This was a gift for my daughter but I like it so much that I'm going to pick myself up one as well in the immediate future.
