Best camera from Canon for learners/beginners in affordable price range.

This is one of the best cameras in it's price range beating all competition form other brands as well. Excellent ease-of-use with clear uncluttered images. Of course, as mentioned in other user reviews - there are no easy modes for fast moving objects; Optical zoom is not active in movie mode and not much use for shooting fast moving objects. But then, hey... you can't get all the things all the time in one gadget (as with mobile phones). One of the best features this camera has is its manual mode for newbie photography learners. Lastly, those looking for budget-saving, best bargain, no-nonsense clear picture (image stabiliser mode included), I strongly recommend this model.

A Great All-Around Family Camera. It's a Perfect Camera for almost any situation or scene, except Fast Moving Objects. Highly Recommended for People who have little to no experience with camera's.

Good buy but beware of the prices mentioned here

this is good cam and had no problems and easy to use but the beware of the prices mentioned I got this Cam from alfa ville parle for Rs.7500 with 4 gb card and carry case... so please look for better bargains

4 Star ReviewAnother great entry level camera from Canon

I got this camera for my mom for Mother's Day to replace he old Nikon and she loved it. I had decided to get this camera for her as it has image stabilization (a must for my mom who is notorious for blurry photos) and easy to replace AA batteries. She was very pleased with the large LCD size, the built in smart picture rotating feature and face auto focusing feature. I'd recommend this camera to anyone who's looking for a high image quality entry level camera at an entry level price. For the price, it can't be beat.

nice camera

I like this camera because unlike others I like a bigger camera with a grip not a credit card size camera. I like using 2 AA's rather than the other type batteries. It takes really nice pictures in good light but noisy pictures in low light. Made very nice 8X10 with it and would not be afraid to go 11X14. Can't beat the price. When it comes to DSLR's I'm a Nikon guy but for point and shoot I like this camera over Nikon's P
