Overall Product Ratings:
fails to charge! connector to dock is very fragile!
This camera is extremely fragile and failure-prone (read other reviews of failure to charge). Casio is notorious for very poor customer service, user-hostile representatives, and over-charging for returns. Avoid Casio and this camera. Buy a Canon SD series camera. The Canons have optics and electronics as good or better than Casio. The battery charges externally; the connectors are stronger, longer-lived. Service is also better.

Save Your Money!
I have tried different cameras looking for quality. Some say this camera has good image quality (?). How is that possible with all the jpeg artifacts botching up the pictures along with the colour issues? The video and image quality pale in comparison to the Canon SD 600. Lesson learned: Always go with quality. It's 6 mp will outshine a poor 8.3 any day!

Great Camera, No Regrets!
I bought this camera over a year ago and I have been nothing but pleased. I've never had any problems with its function. It produces some amazing pictures. I've never so much as noticed the battery getting the slightest bit low. I like it so much that I'm shopping for another Exilim to give as a gift right now.

Casio EX-Z850
The Casio EX-Z850 despite its compact and sleek design is supposed to be a powerhouse of performance. Not only does it produce great bright pictures but it doesn't compromises on the image quality even in A2 prints.

The best quality small camera
This camera while extremely small,(about the size of a deck of cards) produces pictures equal to or better than a good digital SLR camera. It does have an "Anti-shake" mode which really helps keep the images clear. It uses an industry standard compact flash card which helps the transfer to the computer. While you do need the docking station to charge the camera, the battery lasts for a good 500 shots or 5 days of vacation. Nice big preview screen.

compact digital camera
is much more to this 8.1-megapixel compact digital camera, though. It is slim and stylish, features an oversized LCD screen, an anti-shake system and a whopping 34 shooting modes.

small, easy-to-use, versatile
fun, camera. typically great casio user interface. switching to manual aperture or shutter mode is effortless and playing with manual settings is fun. i was actually able to achieve better lowlight shots manually than with best shot modes. hq video mode is good after 1.1b firmware upgrade, but field of view is smaller. and it seems like the camera actually zooms, it's not just cropping, which means what you see on the lcd is what you get in the resulting video (in case, for some reason, anyone is wondering about that). picture quality is very good, and macros are awesome. though the macro range is only 3.9", with the 8mp resolution, you get very nice, extreme close-ups (you can see the bristles on the legs of small insects, and it's pretty jaw-dropping). only had it a week, but so far very pleased.

Casio EX Z850
bought this camera thinking that it was just a minor upgrade from the 750, with a better LCD screen, another MP, and a few other features I wouldn't notice much. But it turns out Casio made more changes (all improvements from what I've seen) than I had read about in the couple of quick previews I had seen online.
