At a glance
By introducing HTC Touch 3G Dual, HTC have put one step ahead in its range of touch phones. Unlike its earlier HTC touch, this one has a slider keypad and 3G connectivity. This introduction from HTC is a tough contender to the iPhone, Blackberry 3G and many others. This phone pulls attention of most of the business owners and professionals due to its simple look, user-friendly keys, and high-end performance.

Design
It carries the same sleek and simple design as of HTC Touch phone. It is a bit taller due to the slider. The front of the phone is occupied with an attractive 2.6-inch 65K color TFT touch screen made of plastic body along with a stylus and handwriting reorganization feature. The back of the phone is covered with a rubber finish to avoid fingerprints and garner grip on the phone.

Features
It operates on a TouchFlo technology which enables you to run through various applications like messaging, browsing, viewing and editing documents etc very smoothly like on a Desktop PC.The slide out keypad makes it easy to operate the phone single-handed.
The Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 professional operating system makes it a high end pocket PC, by providing easy access to Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel, emails and internet. One can ensure greater connectivity with the available Quad-band GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA connectivity. One of the attractive features is its 2-mega pixel camera for crystal clears images and videos and another camera for making video calls.

UPS
The in-built Qualcomm 7200 processor is more powerful than that seen in HTC Touch which results in faster data processing. The memory is also upgraded to 128MB unlike 64 MB in original touch phone. It comes incorporated with HTC Live home screen which displays time, weather and one touch ring tone setting.

Pros
  • 3G and HSDPA connectivity
  • dual camera
  • Slider keypad

  • Cons
Lacks Wi-Fi connectivity, but the incorporated 3G and HSDPA connectivity fills the gap. The touch is not very smooth but the keypads act as a savior.

    Conclusion
If lack of Wi-Fi does not bother you, than this is an ideal choice for professional use. The user-friendly design and advance features gives the true value for your money.

    Recommend Product : Yes

Pros : Sleek design, slide-out keypad, TouchFLO interface, 3.5G (HSDPA) ready

Cons : No Wi-Fi, expensive, somewhat sluggish interface

At first glance, one can see a significant resemblance in the overall design of the Touch Dual and the original Touch. They share the same soft velvety black casing, which gives you a firm grip and feel. The curved edges make the phone comfortable to hold, and give it a distinct look. Its a cool phone

Overall comment for the HTC Dual Touch is Mid-Way to Perfect. Simply the reason of user-friendly, ergonomic and lastly have a good functionality. I have used PDA phone such as O2 Stealth and O2 Mini before I have purchased the HTC Dual Touch. My personal comment for this phone is good and recommended to buy because it does not hang often. If you want to use WIFI, this is definitely not your choice. So please do not say this phone is not good because it is not designed for those WIFI users. This phone is only suitable for those who can afford to spend money to subscribe broadband on mobile plan.
