First look at Sony CR 34 and you will love it. The CR 34 comes in black color and that will add to your expectations of the notebook. The case of the notebook is very sturdy with relatively thick plastic and metal interior reinforcement in just the right places. The notebook is primarily meant for college students who need some fun along with the functionality of a notebook.

Sony CR 34 comes with the screen size of 14.1" with the maximum display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Its Clear Bright screen gives it an added advantage. Sony CR 34 also sports an internal modem which has the speed of 56 Kbps. It is also incorporated with Wi-Fi which is 802.11a/b/g/n.
The memory of the Sony CR 34 is the process Cache Memory which is 2048 KB. This form of memory can be considered as an intermediary between the main physical RAM and the CPU. The cache makes any data regularly used by CPU instantly obtainable. If the required information is not located in the collection, a fetch is made from the main memory.

Design
With dimensions of 335.1 mm x 249 mm x 21 mm and a weight of 2.5 kg the Sony CR 34 is quite handy to carry and use. The front side bus of the notebook is 800. But one positive thing to be noticed over here is the presence of DVD Writer Drive. You won't find this option in many of the notebooks of this range.

The camera in Sony CR 34 is of 1.3 megapixels. The pictures do come very clear. The battery used in this notebook is the standard Li Ion which lasts for 4.5 hours on an average use. Here it differs from Sony SZ 58 which has the battery life of 7 hours.
The notebook has various ports and slots for different utilizations. The ports present here are USB Port, FireWire, Bluetooth and Digital Media Reader. Sony CR 34 also has in built speakers as well. These make the gaming experience on this laptop a nice one with the help of its Intel High Definition Audio. It is also incorporated with an inbuilt camera. The best thing to be noticed over here is that the notebook has a Fingerprint reader for security. No one can operate your laptop without it being turned on by you.

The operating system used in Sony CR 34 is Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. The video card is manufactured by Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, which is an integral part of Sony CR 34. The only drawback is the average quality output of the camera.

Vistas operate well in this laptop and the performance is awesome. The laptop is fast and responsive. The audio and video capabilities are commendable and it is very easy to use.
