The Coolpix S30 has a 10.1MP CCD imaging sensor, a 3x 24-85mm equivalent zoom lens (approximate), a 2.7" 230,000-dot LCD, one-touch 720p HD video with sound, a top ISO of 1600, an electronic VR image stabilization system, and a selection of Scene modes that include Point-and-Shoot, Underwater, Interval shooting, Highlight Color, Diorama (Miniature) Effects, Close-ups, and a Food mode.The Coolpix S30 also includes an extensive selection of pre-capture Special Effect filters that include Soft Focus, Selective Color and Miniature. There are also a bunch of post-capture effects that can be added after the fact that include Cross Screen, Fisheye and special-effect colors.

Really Awesome Camera...

A nice camera with reasonable features. For the price given, truly justifies. Came with few free essential accessories(like charger, a set of batteries and pocket) so you don't have to shell out additional money for them.

Excellent, robust camera, specially for kids

I have been using SLR for many years . But do not compare the image quality of SLR or even your point and shoot. But what requires is ur creativity.
