The Nokia 6088 CDMA offers features suiting the upgradation of CDMA users. The phone provides a VGA camera with 4x zoom. It has a colour display screen of 65,536 colors, and a 128 x 160 pixels image display. The camera is not as strong and powerful and there are other phones which offer better camera options in the same range.
It supports both polyphonic and mp3 ringtones which are loud and audible. It has the 4-way scroll key which adds to the looks and the utility. It is handy and weighs around 94 grams. The phonebook stores upto 500 contacts which is not advisable for a person dependent on maintaining contacts. It has some integrated games and has voice recording option. It offers a talk time of about 2.5 hours and has a standby time of about 6 days.
It has a 2MB inbuilt memory and does not support external memory, where it disappoints the buyers. It also does not support music player or the FM due to lack of memory. It neither supports infrared nor bluetooth technologies. Though it has video capturing and speaker facility. Not the best buy but gets a nod for the people who have basic mobile use as it looks smart and has the minimum good phone features.
